• FOR POPS wins his 4th in a row galloping

    FOR POPS has now made it 4 wins in a row since breaking his maiden in October at Finger Lakes for owner  Our Blue Streaks Stable and trainer Ralph D'Alessandro. The 3-year-old gelding simply goes to the lead and gallops home. He has earned over $82,000 for his connections and has 4 wins and a 3rd from 9 starts. It took him 5 tries to figure out the game, but he gets it now!

She has added a second win today going 6 furlongs again at Penn National.  She went off the favorite and the betters were right, as she won by over 4 lengths, SOARING ROSA is trained by Heather Hollahan and owned by Edward Stevenson. She was bred by Cavanaugh Breen, LLC.

    FOR POPS broke his maiden at Finger Lakes in October and has not looked back since -  winning the next 2 in a row. Sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs he vied for the lead and then moved out from the rail to put away his rival and drive on to the win. He is owned by  Our Blue Streaks Stable and trained by  Ralph D'Alessandro.

    2-year-old filly  KATERI EMPIRE sprinted 5 1/2 furlongs to a win at Finger Lakes in her first start. She ran just off the early leader saving ground and then switched to the outside and drew off to score by four lengths. Keep an eye on this one!

    Two year old NY Bred WIGGLES was 3rd in his first start and that was all it took. He wired the field in his second start and won easily by 5 lengths sprinting 5 furlongs in less than a minute. He is trained by Debra A. Breed for owner/breeder Carl Buhr.

    REASON TO SOAR owned by West Point  broke his maiden right off the bat, and then ran third in the Ocala Breeders' Sales Sophomore Stakes at Tampa Bayin his second lifetime start. Back in NY,  he added another third in the New York Stallion Stakes at Aqueduct. He loomed up the outside and then could not hold off closers.  He has a win and two stakes placings to his name in 3 lifetime starts.

    Reason to Soar (Soaring Empire) owned by West Point Thoroughbreds,  won his first start, and jumping into stakes company for his second start in the Ocala Breeders Sales Sophomore S at Tampa Bay, he ran third. He dueled determinedly throughout, but had to settle for the show. Reason to Soar is trained by George Weaver.

    Three year old gelding REASON TO SOAR made an exciting start to his career with a huge come from behind rally to graduate at first asking in a MSW at Gulfstream. He was outsprinted early but  began to advance and found another gear once switching to his right lead in the stretch. He  won going away by 6 1/4 lengths. REASON TO SOAR was a $110,000 OBS 2 year old purchase by West Point Thoroughbreds, He is trained by George Weaver. Watch for this one!

  • First foal for SOARING EMPIRE

    Soaring Empire (Empire Maker--Flying Passage, by A.P. Indy) sired his first foal when In Your Eyes (Vision and Verse) produced a colt on Jan. 24. The foal was bred by Dan Bearden.

    Soaring Empire won the 2011 GIII Hal's Hope S.
